Blackpool & The Fylde Alternative School has two buildings, one is situated on Abingdon Street, just a 4 minute walk from Blackpool train station. The other is situated on Dean Street, to the south of Blackpool, close to The Pleasure Beach.
Our Blackpool schools specialises in working with high needs pupils ages from 11-16. Our small group sessions, full-time flexible timetables, 1:1 sessions and 10 point assessment plan all work towards building our young peoples’ confidence and skills and giving them the opportunity to flourish.
TAS Blackpool has an on-going review for each pupil to determine their suitability for which building they will be educated from.
TAS Blackpool has a strong sports programme, involving visits to the local sports hall, football & walking on the beach. There is also a boxing programme available and pupils can access equine sport at Midgeland Riding School.
